Homemade Masks for COVID-19!

Early in the summer of 2021, during the peak of the pandemic, I was looking for a way to contribute to the fight against COVID-19. I decided to make cloth masks from extra fabric I had laying around, and learned the basics of using the sewing machine we had at home. Although the road to perfect stitches was a little bumpy, I eventually learned how to include a slot for an air filter and a nose wire to allow the user to mold the mask to their face shape. I made over 120 masks and donated them to @northtexasfoodbank and @mealsonwheelsamerica!
